Curators of
Regenerative Travel

Ubuntu means “I am because we are.”

We create deeply human journeys through South Africa that reconnect people to nature, culture, and each other.

Every experience is designed to leave both you and the places you visit better than before. Travel that uplifts.

Built On Belief

We believe luxury and responsibility can coexist. That travel can give more than it takes. And that the most unforgettable journeys reconnect us to people, place, and ourselves.

Our commitment is simple: creating greater opportunity for children living in poverty across South Africa. The traveler leaves with memories that last a lifetime. The children stay with opportunities that can change one. Learn more on our Our Commitment page.

Richard Bryant
Lead Guide

Born and raised in Cape Town. Over 7,000 travelers guided across South Africa in fourteen years. Known for his warmth, humor and, local knowledge. Richard creates experiences that feel deeply personal and effortlessly welcoming.

Missions United.
One Journey.

We both love to travel and give back. This work is who we are and what we are driven to share.

Jessie spent years fundraising to build four schools through Pencils of Promise and created Read to Build, helping urban youth in the USA unlock school funding through reading hours. Help kids help kids.

Andrew raised over R1 million rand climbing Table Mountain every day for a year for three non-profits close to his heart.

Two people. Two continents. One belief.

Now with Ubuntu Journeys those two missions become one. Impact is not an add on. It is embedded in everything we do.

What Is Ubuntu?

Ubuntu is best understood in the hearts of those who have carried it forward.

Nelson Mandela and Desmond Tutu built their lives around this philosophy. Two of the most powerful voices for human dignity the world has ever known. Both rooted in the belief that rising in isolation does not exist. That our success depends on the interconnectedness of us all.

We stand on the shoulders of Mandela, Tutu, and every leader who lived Ubuntu before us. And we honor them by lifting others as we rise.

It is a wisdom that ripples. After filming Mission Impossible in South Africa, Tom Cruise was so moved by the philosophy of Ubuntu that he wove it into his acceptance speech at a major Hollywood awards ceremony.

When a philosophy moves a Hollywood icon to close one of the biggest nights of his career with it, you know it is something worth experiencing for yourself.

Come to South Africa with us.

Experience it firsthand.
